It was super preachy and made me feel awful. Memorize it before baby comes!!!! It will save a lot of strife. My other favorite "Bible" has been "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child." It can be dry and science-y in the beginning, so I just skipped to the chapters that were relevant to me in terms of my baby's age. It was invaluable and I believe my daughter's constant sleep success if due to the techniques I followed in this book. We've never had sleep troubles (knock on wood). Although I'd taken care of babies before, this was a nice primer and refresher.
