@Mrs.Someone: Our door hinge ones are adjustable, so the doors can open past 90 degrees.

If you do go with the solid ones @Mrs.Someone: and I mentioned, I'd suggest making sure you screw them into a new hole to help them hold a little better.

I'm not a fan of the door hinge ones, they lock the door at 90 degrees, and can make dents in the door molding if you try to open it further. But it sounds like you don't want them anyway!

We have the floor ones (solid, not springy), but the whole thing will pull off the wall, so I'm not sure if you want those either. At least the piece is much bigger?

Ah, ok.

I replaced the springy ones with rigid ones...whatever the cheapest ones at lowe's or home depot were. I feel like the plastic stoppers might be on tighter on those?

something like this http://www.lowes.com/pd_308849-46882-20235ORXLG_0__

@MaryM: nope... we have to replace at the floor level :( No putting stuff on walls. Some of the doors are weirdly located too so it would be strange. And there are SO MANY DOORS.

@kiddosc: LOL the link was to my company's direct competitor :silly: We have a few of those, but we need to replace the floor ones.

We have these. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Schlage-Satin-Nickel-Hinge-Pin-Door-Stop-SC70Z-619/100529558

They fit on the hinge pin on either the upper or middle hinge pin of the door. It's a pretty simple installation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feMUBcjU0B4

those can also pinch and that hurts!

I have a few of these in my house, maybe try them instead? They're up on the wall where the doorknob would hit.

Hah yeah we ran into that problem as well. LO loves to play with them, so we eventually just pulled off the rubber stoppers and left them exposed. I was worried she'd choke on that stupid rubber thing!

When DS figured out how to pull those off, I just went around and took them all off and never did anything else to them. Never really thought about baby proofing them even more.

We just moved and E just started crawling. We have these doorstops ALL. OVER. THE HOUSE. Our landlord said we can switch them out if we want. The issue? The rubber tip easily pulls off. Eeek!

Anyone find any they like? There are SO MANY ughhhh.
