What about Tiny Tom's? With the velcro, you can kind of adjust how tight they are.

@charleysmom: I think this is my girl too. I was trying to squeeze her fat foot into shoes at Target and they wouldn't go on! She can wear the See Kai Run smaller mary jane shoes.

This is the one I got her in 12-18 month size. When I measured her, she was measuring at size 5.

http://www.amazon.com/See-Kai-Run-Infant-Months/dp/B00LBD95HY/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1440943889&sr=8-11&keywords=see+kai+run+smaller

You can also try the soft sole robeez or moccasins should work too. I imagine as she sheds more baby fat, her foot will thin down too.

Thanks! @tanjowen and @kemma, I will check those out. We tried the Mary Jane style but they didn't fit either @Mrs. Oatmeal. 😞

@charleysmom: it sounds like you girl still has chubby wee baby feet! I would either stick with a leather soft sole shoe or you could try and find a shoe like the Bobux Step Ups. You basically need a shoe for early / new walkers

@charleysmom: Would a pair of mary-jane style shoes work? So that she doesn't need to fit her foot into the whole shoe? I know that See Kai Run has some fantastic shoes that are mary-janes - we loved them!

What about Robeez botties, or soft crib shoes that stretch, like these? http://www.amazon.com/Weixinbuy-Girls-Cotton-Polka-Walking/dp/B00T4AVEI4/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1440893505&sr=8-10&keywords=baby+shoes

My daughter is 14 months and has been walking consistently for the last 3 weeks. I've never been able to find shoes that fit her correctly but wasn't worried about it because she wasn't walking and it's summer. We took her to Stride Rite today and she measured a 5.5 W- and not a single pair fit her. She has a fat pad on the top of her foot making it difficult to get her into anything- we even tried XW. We did manage to get her into a wide boy's style sneaker but I would like something a bit more girlier for her. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for brands that come in wide and can fit some seriously chunky feet?
