Get some Converse crib shoes. Because they lace up, they stay on MUCH better than other shoes.

The others we really like were Robeez and Tiny Toms.

My girl wears Bobux shoes and they stay on like glue! They come in heaps of different styles and are all natural materials. Here's a screen shot from their website:

DD had the same problem. I even bought Swedish moccasin socks from the UK since they were on Zulily (I should have bought them here since they're softer but I couldn't pass up on a sale). They fit in length, but she was still so small that they slid right off anyway. She never really got to wear them since when her ankles got big enough, they were too small lengthwise. Now that she's walking, I don't have the problem anymore, but her feet are still a little big for her age.

I think we are going to have the same issue with R. Her feet are so small, size 2's are big. And now she is standing up and I think we will walking by Christmas. So I am not sure what we are going to do.

At 10 months we only have 2 pairs of shoes and I only put them on her if it's chilly out and I don't think just socks will do. But she takes them off - oh well. I am hoping she'll keep her Stuart Weitzman's on for more than a few minutes though. (I got them on clearance at BBB) :)

haha. I had a hard time getting shoes on DD cause she curled her toes. Didn't bother buying any for her until she started walking.

My friend bought a pair of cute RL soft shoes for DS. THey fit well, but slipped off easily. No shoes for him until he starts walking!

I know baby shoes are really not a necessity, but I'm ready for K to start wearing some cute shoes! She doesn't have small feet - in fact, the first thing her ped said when he saw her, was "wow! She has long feet!"

Fast-forward to 7+ months and she still can't fit any shoes really. I can put 0-6 Robeez on her with socks and they don't fall off too much. She doesn't fit ANY size 3-6 months or size 2 shoes. The 0-3 months are too short usually, but too wide.

How do people get their little babies to wear cute shoes (just for fun, of course)? Or are they all for pictures and falling off everyone else's LOs in real life too?
