My son is almost 15 months.

He was a size 4 at around 10 months, and when we got him measured at 12 months, he was 5.5.

He needs new shoes again, we're getting some this weekend after we measure him. I am sure he'll be in 6.5. I just bought a pair of iplay summer sneakers in 7 for the pool, not sure how those will work out.

I tend not to buy ahead because brands differ so widely, and your LO might need a wider shoe, because baby feet are so chunky!

At that age, babies outgrow shoes every 3-4 months. Even knowing that though, I'd wait til it gets warmer. I pretty much always take my kid to the store to get fitted properly too (as opposed to buying online), especially for "everyday shoes" because I want to make sure they fit as best as possible before buying.

LO is a year old this month and I bought her one pair of shoes that she never got to wear. I'm waiting until she starts walking. I definitely won't buy shoes in advance since I have no idea how big her feet will be come summer/fall/winter.
I would definitely wait until it gets warmer before you buy your little guy sandals.. unless you see something super cute that you absolutely have to buy. If that's the case I'd probably go a size or 2 up from what he's currently wearing.

My son maintained the same shoe size for 3-4 months. Right now he's 22 months and wears size 6. We end up buying him new shoes every 3-4 months.

How fast did your baby/toddler's feet grow?

DS is 11 months and in a size 4 shoe. I'm just wondering how quickly he'll outgrow sizes. Will they last a whole season? How do you know when to size up? I want to buy DS a pair of sandals for the summer, but I don't know what size I should buy or if I should just wait until it's warmer and he'd be closer to wearing them to see what size to get.
