Another good way to win a prize and the mom benefits. Everyone brings a pack of diapers (any size any quantity) to be entered into a raffle. She's anti-game but I was able to get away with one non-intrusive game.<br /> I filled a diaper bag with 12 items and had a blank card with numbered lines left at each place setting. I told everyone at the beginning "welcome" that they were to write down the 12 items they thought were in the diaper bag. About a half hour in I gave a 15 min warning to complete the cards.<br /> Then I went down the list and used the honor system for everyone to grade their own card. Then just asked "anyone have 12 right. 11? 10? 9?" Until someone said they had that many. They got a prize.<br /> It was a coed shower and everyone including the men participated and seemed to have fun, heard lots of "yesssssss!" When I called an item they had. Then we all held our cards and went around reading our items. Person with most items gets a prize. </p> <p>Finally, it's not super competitive, but I like the string measuring belly guess.</p> <p>Yes, don't bother with a favour. Your idea sounds good. I'm going to set out a calendar for due date guesses, wrap a gift that gets passed 2 people to the left each time the mom to be opens a gift with pink and I'm going to bake one of those tiny plastic babies into one of the desserts King cake style. </p> <p>The guest of honor loves games and is super competitive so I'd love to do something else that's competition based but not the bottle drinking/baby food/smell the diaper variety. Any thoughts? </p> <p>And I'm good skipping favors and just doing prizes for the games right? I figure I'll set out take home bags/boxes and they can take home leftovers from the dessert bar. </p>
