I love babies and going to showers and wouldn’t really mind that it was for a third baby. But I might not spend as much as I would for a first baby since by now the mom would have pretty much everything! </p> <p>I had two boys close in age and then 3 years later had a girl. My mom threw me a “sprinkle” this summer when the baby was one month old. It was an intimate gathering of close friends and family and almost everyone got her clothes :) It was a nice way for the family to meet the baby and for her to get some girly stuff. It wasn’t at all like an official shower I don’t think .. I didn’t register or get any big ticket items. I've done things like stickers, scratch books, water wow, color wonder, or anything else they could do (mostly) by themselves. This is actually my second one this month for a third baby, and no, neither one had a big age difference. I thought it was kind of weird and came VERY close to not bringing a present last time, because I thought it was just a party basically. Then I realized calling it a baby shower meant presents were probably expected, and I was right. It's her third baby, so I'm not entirely sure what to get her. She obviously has most baby things she needs. She has a boy and a girl already, and this time is leaving the gender a surprise. I was thinking of just some diapers since you can always use plenty of those, but it's a little boring. Any other suggestions for something fun but also useful and gender neutral? </p>
