My sister had her 3rd a month after our LO was born and is now done so she has given us our swing for next time. We borrowed one at 7 weeks and it changed our lives! She took all her naps there until she was about 4 months. It will be the first purchase for LO #2! In fact, I know this sounds crazy, but I kind of want one for upstairs and one for downstairs. </p> <p>I think it will come even more handy with an older LO because most babies will fall asleep on their own from the rocking, so you don't have to always rock the baby to sleep or bounce or what have you. We even kept him there overnight, moving it into his bedroom overnight. It was horrible. This baby doesn't mind it and has napped in it, but not often I would see if you can try the new baby out in a swing before buying one, if that's possible.
