I had the same one that @kayla0416: did and I loved the size and portability. It wasn't very fast and I can't remember if it was an auto-shut off, but I loved it for thee space saving features.

We registered for and received this one and loved it: http://www.target.com/p/fisher-price-deluxe-take-along-swing-seat-saturn-snuggle/-/A-16343645.
It's small, so it takes up very little space, no auto shutoff, and inexpensive. It was an absolute lifesaver for months 0-3. We didn't do night sleep in it, but she got in a solid 3 hour nap every day which kept me sane - time to shower, eat a meal, do chores, and/or nap.

@Goldengirl: It doesn't...I've never had/seen a swing that does! Our batteries last quite awhile though, and I've got two preschoolers who love to turn the darn thing on/off (and often leave it on) - we use rechargeables.

@Goldengirl: you can turn the seat on the snuggabunny/puppy/monkey etc so it swings either front to back or side to side.

I have the same one that @Peaches1038 posted and my 12 week old LO loves it. It has no auto-shutoff. Couldn't live without it.

@FaithFertility: I for some reason couldn't find the info when googling!
@oliviaoblivia: Are all the "snuggas' the same? And they swing forward and back vs side to side?
@PinkElephant: Does it have the option to plug in?

I'm also concerned about space because I have very limited floor space and most of these swings are huge! Thats why I got the Mamaroo which I like but he seems to like the really fast swing forward/backward motion which the Mamaroo doesn't do since it's more of a rocking motion. So picky!

We had this one.nit goes super fast, we never turned it higher than 3 and it goes to 6. It was also nice because it has two levels of recline and can be turned to swing side to side or back and forth. Also the seat can be taken off and used as a bouncer. Oh and it can be plugged in so you're not constantly going through batteries. Highly
Recommend it!

We have another FP swing (one of the Spacesaver ones) - it goes really high and fast, particularly if the baby is light.....only shuts off when you've drained the batteries. Agree with a previous poster that they just change the "styles" every year...it's basically the same swing.

We have two snuggabunnies.
No auto shut off they go forever.

I don't know if it's discontinued but they make a new snuggawhatever each year.
Make sure you get the plug in one.

@Goldengirl: we have the snugapuppy and I do not think it has a 90 minute shut off, I guess you could google that?

It goes pretty fast when on high!

I had this one. It glides which is a little bit of a different motion, but it is fast, doesn't have an auto off, and mine had a plug for the wall so I didn't have to worry about battery life.

Not sure about the auto shutoff but we had the Snug a puppy swing and loved it. I could consistently get a 3 hour nap when my son was younger. It was amazing! Sleep is important

ETA- we originally got it from a friend but it broke shortly after- we ended up buying another at local kids consignment store.

Does anyone know of a swing that a)swings fast and b)doesn't have automatic shutoff after 90 minutes? My LO is currently napping in an Ingenuity swing at my parents' and it seems to be doing the trick... he is fussy/refluxy and wakes up a ton and sleeps terribly unless being held. But the really fast motion (it's on full speed!) seems to lull him back to sleep. However, it turns off after 90 minutes. I wanted to test it out for nighttime sleep to see if he can go a good stretch but wondering if swings exist without the auto shutoff or if they all have it for safety? (Also I know some people think sleeping in a swing is a no-no but at this point I just want my baby to sleep and have been told by his doc it's okay!)

I had initially been looking at the Snugabunny swing, but am not sure if it has the auto shutoff... also, it says on Amazon it's been discontinued. Anyone know why?

TIA!
