@Alivoo01: She was laying down when these happened. I didn't think about the bubble because she nearly always drinks her morning and night bottles laying down.

Update: We've been giving her water with just a bit of milk in it, and it seems to be helping. She hasn't thrown up the last 2 mornings. Hopefully this was an odd fluke and we're over it!

Totally off the line of intolerances but is your LO drinking his milk while laying down? DS is much younger, but I know if I nurse him side-lying, he ALWAYS spits up in the morning after I sit him up. I'm guessing he catches more air bubbles while laying down vs somewhat sitting up. He doesn't have problems if I hold him in a cradle position.

My son was throwing up milk around the same time. It was brutal. If I bought a different brand of milk, he'd puke it back up. Go figure the only kind we were safe with was the most expensive organic kind! He grew out of it a few weeks later.

@mrbee: Gave her water with just a taste of milk this morning, and no vomit. She had milk throughout the day, and even had cheese with breakfast, and was fine. This is odd.

@mrbee: My mom suggested it might be a milk thing, especially since my sister's son had milk issues for 2 years or so. Did Charlie have any issues during the day or was it just first thing in the morning/at night?

@MaisyMay: Charlie used to throw up quite a bit, in the mornings and also in the middle of the night. It turned out to be a dairy sensitivity, probably from his nighttime or morning bottles. We switched him to hemp milk, and he stopped throwing up right away!

LO is 13 months and finally started sleeping through the night again! She's been going down by 7:15 and not waking until 5 a.m., when she wants a bottle.

The last 2 mornings, we've given her a bottle and 5-10 minutes after she finishes it, she throws up. We're not talking a little spit up, we're talking full-on change the bed, grossness. The first night we thought the milk had gone bad. Now we don't know what to think. She's fine w/ milk the rest of the day, but that first bottle is a disaster.

Any thoughts on why she's doing this? We're going to email her doctor on Monday.
