I definitely wish he could consolidate his naps! Right now most of his naps are 45-60 minutes. The last couple of days he's taken a 2 hour nap in the morning, which has been great, but like always he is yawning again just a few minutes after he gets up.

Also, he added a night-waking about 3 weeks ago and I'm wondering if the increased wake time at night/interrupted sleep is making him not as well-rested?

he may just have a short awake time right now, or maybe it would help if each of his naps were longer? the latter is something i have struggled with--my LO has problems lasting past the 45-minute mark with naps, and i feel like he could consolidate his naps.

My 4 month old seems tired nearly all of the time. He generally starts yawning and looking glazed over about 30-40 minutes after he wakes up from a nap. I generally try to get him down about 60 minutes after he wakes up, but is sometimes ends up being 90 minutes if he's not going down easily or is extra hungry. Any ideas as to why his wake time seems so short?

He generally gets about 9-10 hours of nighttime sleep (not counting his 2-3 wake ups) and about 4-5 hours of daytime sleep broken up into 4-5 naps.
