I totally was shaking uncontrollably during labor and they kept saying "are you cold?" I would say "no, is there something wrong with me?" and they would say "no, this is totally normal during labor. haha.</p> <p>I forgot about the vomiting part. I vomited a bunch when I was ready to push, too. Did they tell you that vomiting helps you push? They told me that, and I actually laughed for a good 5 minutes straight. :P</p> <p>Glad you had so much time with DH to bond with the three of you. </p> <p>And like I said, I love the name, and I'm glad the little guy is gaining weight! Nothing came out! Some preemie stuff is too small - it just depends on the brand. We didn't get too many preemie outfits because he'll outgrow them fast. I find it hard to believe he'll ever fit into 0-3, lol!</p> <p>@Coco Bee: I know, crazy! We knew he was smaller, but based on my last u/s at 32 weeks he was like 25th percentile. Since he was born at 38 weeks, 4 days, I'm wondering if I had a placenta/cord deficiency that wasn't caught (even though we had 2 fetal surveys...) My midwife who delivered me mentioned that my cord was "short" and commented about my placenta (which my husband heard, I did not). I had a similar experience with completely falling in love with my husband all over again. I loved seeing him cuddle our son and love on him. Even now, I feel so much love for him when I see them together. I have never felt closer to my husband than I did that week after giving birth.</p> <p>My gosh I can't imagine how scary it was to have him be less than 5 lbs! And you were even in your 38th week, crazy! I delivered at 38+5 which was only a few days after you and my LO was around 7 lbs. He lost 10% of his birthweight too, but as soon as we were breastfeeding consistently, he was gaining nearly half a pound a week.</p> <p>So happy little Tyler is happy and healthy!! </p>
