My LO's poop has been green for about a week or so but the ped said it wasn't an issue. She said the change in color just means it's moving at a different rate through the digestive tract than the yellow poop was. Makes sense, since he went from pooping at every diaper change, to pooping every other day.

My little guy is almost 3 and still sensetive to soy (in that he reflexes and has bad stool. I need to get him back into the allergist). Thankfully it isn't soy lecithin or oil or I think we would be screwed.

My 12 week old has MSPI, and my diet has helped tremendously. Even with the elimination of dairy and soy, he still has diapers with blood in his stool. Occasionally his yellow poop goes back to green. I have eliminated wheat and eggs just in case because I had to do so with my first. After my doctors suggestion of trying to eliminate beef, I determined LO has a sensitivity to beef as well (made his poop green).

After weeks of being stumped, I concluded kale was the culprit. Kale of all foods! I eat it every week, and I kept trying to link corn, coconut, other meats and rice to my list of suspected food items. It never occurred to me that it could be a veggie. LO gets blood in his stools and breaks out in a rash on his chest every time I eat kale. I googled kale allergy, and it's kind of scary. Glad I figured it out. Just feel horrible that I've been hurting him all this time by eating kale.

Does your LO have any odd food sensitivities or allergies? My first is allergic to dairy, eggs, and peanuts and still haven't outgrown them at 2.5 years old.
