When I set my 10 month old down, I look him on the eye and in my most authoritative voice say, "wait here." It took a while, but he got it. He still tests the boundaries from time to time. My LO is always trying to roll over then sit up. She is MUCH better if I change her on her changing table rather than the floor (confined space) and I give her a toy and I try to move fast. I try giving her a toy while I'm changing her diaper, but it doesn't usually work. She thinks diaper change time means it's time to practice crawling. Is this a phase? She's 8 months old, it started maybe a month or two ago but it's getting worse. </p>
