Interesting! G yawns a lot too! Even after just waking from what I think are decent naps or night sleep!

R seems to get a bit more sleep over all than her as 5x a week she only naps 1.5-2hrs the whole day :( really fighting that first nap at day care!

Our Home schedule is about the same as yours.... her naps are never longer than 1.5 hrs and she definitely needs 2 as she goes down with no fight for her 1st nap at home!

Night sleep is 7:30/8-6:15/6:30

She seems happy so I don't know what else to do, kind of like you have stated before earlier bed time for us brings earlier wakes as it seems her routine is up after 10-10.5 hrs!!!

@winniebee: I have been struggling with this too. An earlier bedtime always seems to result in an early wake up for us to. Tuesday night we put her down at 7:30 because she seemed exhausted, of course she woke at 5:55am yesterday morning as a result, after 2 wakings :bummed:

Last night was better because she fell asleep at 8:15 and slept until 6:40 this morning, still multiple wakings though. We are struggling to get to 10 hrs of sleep over night right now. I am hoping when her teeth finish coming in and she finally figures out crawling she will go back to sleeping better

@mrswin: ok interesting, thanks! the thing is if I do a super early bed time, he doesn't typically sleep more. Just wakes up earlier....that's the only thing I can think of to help his schedule. Today he was up at 6:30 and I put him down for his nap at 8:30 (sometimes he only goes 2 hours before morning nap).

@winniebee: I can't offer any suggestions but my DD yawns all the time too. It seems like R is getting a decent amount of sleep

R yawns a lot. Mostly in the morning. I'm guessing this means he doesn't sleep enough? He's 11m.

Here's his schedule:

Bed: 7 or 7:30. Sleeps through until 5 or 5:30 OR wakes once around 4 to nurse and goes back to sleep until 6:30. His overall night sleep is usually 10.5 hours or 11 hours with a waking.

Nap 1: 2.5 hours after he wakes up. Sometimes it lasts 1.5 hours, sometimes an hour, sometimes 45 mins.

Nap 2: Usually 3 or 3.5 hours after he wakes up. Sometimes it lasts 1.5 hours, sometimes 2 hours, occasionally 45 mins.

So a typical schedule would be:

Wake 5:30
Nap 8-9:30
Nap 1-2:30
Bed at 7

Of course....there are days when one of his naps sucks. But usually at least one of them is longer.

What am I missing here?! Why is he yawning so much?? He's always been this way.
