My MIL gave me a ton of baby's first Xmas ornaments. We also did holiday cards with a family photo. Oh, and her first photo shoot with a professional photographer. And a stocking! We don't do Santa pictures... and thank goodness because I know my LO would hate it. She's not a fan of strangers (or really people who aren't her mom and dad) and I know Santa would really freak her out!</p> <p>We're not doing much for the first Chanukah. Next year I think I will do a tree decorated in toys and I plan to make a felt tree with the ornaments in his advent calendar.</p> <p>eta: I also think next year I'll get the Little People nativity, and put those figures in the advent calendar. How did the prints turn out? We tried, unsuccessfully, to do that with DD when she was about a month old with one of those kits somebody gave us. </p> <p>We had Christmas pictures taken, sent out shutterfly Christmas cards &amp; started a tradition of 2 ornament gifts/year...1 is homemade &amp; 1 is store bought.
