<description>&#60;p&#62;I find dosing with Advil is the best for bringing down a fever. Since your LO had a cold before the fever began, be on the lookout for an ear infection if the fever isn't gone by day 3.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Alternating the meds is for when just one doesn't do the trick e.g. Instead of Tylenol every 6 hours or Motrin every 6 hours, you give Tylenol and three hours later you give Motrin and so on. That way you have more fuel against the fever but you don't exceed the max dose. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I am amazed you're only on your first fever, wow!!

<description>&#60;p&#62;**Hugs**&#60;br /&#62;
How awesome are you that it took this long to get his first fever --- way to go mama!! it's always so hard when they are sick. Do what makes you feel comfortable. We usually keep DD on a regular advil schedule until the fever stops coming back. Cool washcloths have helped when it was really high and she seemed uncomfortable (we hit 105 one time - so scary).

<description>&#60;p&#62;Aw poor A! hope he feels better soon...If the fever is controlled by meds, I think that's a good sign. I hope it breaks soon!
