I am actually a little jealous of my nanny, she basically has a 9-5 job that pays really well, gets free lunch every day, lots of vacation days and no boss breathing down her neck. Most of the parents I work for would love to have a 25+ y.o. sitter. A fair number of people are willing to hire a mom with a baby, especially at a slightly lower than normal rate (say $9-10 if $12 is the going rate in your area). I second (third?) Care.com, craigslist and sittercity are both decent options too. Post a very clear, well written ad that clearly states you have a baby with a nice photo (of you) and then apply to anything that looks promising. </p> <p>Good luck! You should let them know up front that you would be bringing your son so they could be comfortable with it. While not necessarily the same things my BIL/SIL's nanny always brought her kids to their house. </p>
