Well, other than when he goes from the warm pool to the cold locker room to be stripped down, that elicits screams every time! They do say that you when baby's floating on his/her back he/she should either have both ears in the water or neither ear. </p> <p>But we do back floating, front floating, side floating, dunking etc., and she's never had any ear issues. They do lots of floating, jumping into the water and head dunking and that sort of thing, and water in her ears has never appeared to bother her (no ear tugging or crying or anything that would indicate discomfort).
