It takes a little but to learn how to adjust it like any other carrier but it's great once you get the hang of it. I started using it when my daughter was 1.5 weeks old and can still use it now at 8 months old. It's highly adjustable and versatile. I bought mine from SleepingBaby. </p> <p>ETA: I bought the ringsling so I could wear my newborn while caring for our 2.5 year old toddler. Right now I'm looking at the k'tan and ring slings as top contenders. C much preferred the snug feeling of the wrap and it was just more comfortable for both of us until she was about 4 months old. It takes a bit to get it but it's so much less bulky than the fabric of the moby. And it's nice to throw in the diaper bag. Once I got it (2 or so days of watching videos and practice) it totally clicked and my baby seems to be more "fooled" into thinking I am holding him.
