I STILL have it 8 months PP because I'm still nursing and hanging on to a few extra lbs. (apparently it's common to hang on to a few while nursing--no one tells you that!). I'm hoping it will go away once I wean in a few months and my boobs and body shrink back to normal.

Me too. I hate it and it has not gone away (9 weeks PP). I'm pretty thin in general and do not like the feeling of rolls touching!

Oh yeah, I'm right there with you. Add it to the list of sexy pregnancy side effects.

Pregnancy = weight gain (obviously!). And fat deposits generally occur based on that to which you are genetically predisposed. For some people it's the belly, bum or thighs, for others it's the back (or a combination of all of the above!).

Lucky us...... :(

I think I'm going to write a new diet book. It'll be called Pregnancy: Barf yourself flabby!!

In all seriousness I've never had back fat in my life. I've gained and lost weight. Had a flabby belly or thunder thighs or a big butt or chubby arms. But BACK FAT? I have these saddle bag rolls on my back that I can feel whenever i stand up straight with shoulders back. freaking gross. I find myself hunching over all the time.

Anyone know what the point of this is? Is this a normal thing that happens or am I just one of the lucky ones? (I'm 15 weeks.)
