YEP! My back used to KILL me and it was definitely from breastfeeding! It wasn't until I found a better position to nurse in that it finally stopped hurting! Try NOT to hunch over and keep your shoulders relaxed. Bring your baby to YOU, not the other way around!

What works for me is sitting in my rocking chair because it's narrow enough that I can rest my boppy on my lap but it's ALSO propped up a bit on the arms of the rocking chair. This really helped bring Xander right up to my level so I can lean back and have good posture while still nursing!

I'd experiment with different positions if I were you until you find something that's comfortable for you both! Good luck!!! <3

Yep, my back is killing me. My whole body aches, really, but yeah, my back has definitely been bothering me. I haven't figured out what positions are hurting it.

The only back pain I had was residual pain from my epidural that lasted almost 9 months. Any time I sat up straight it hurt. I never had pain that I associated specifically with breastfeeding.

Did anyone experience back muscle pain from breast feeding? I think it's because I'm always kind of hunched over when I feed him. I try to support my back, but sometimes I can't, depending on where I am! Just wondering if that's a common complaint or not.
