Ugh, second night in a row :( pretty much the same as the first. Poor guy is having trouble breathing because of his stuffed nose. At the pediatrician right now with Wagon Sr. because he woke from his nap wheezing and threw up a little from the coughing. Here's hoping it's not something serious...

thanks ladies! I forgot to add, when he saw me he got up, made his way to me and let me scoop him up, then immediately put his head on my shoulder. He NEVER EVER does this. My heart just about broke into a million zillion pieces. My poor little baby boy.

Of course today he's back to his whiny self so I guess he's just fine. ;)

Oh no. :-( Seeing him sitting there with mucus caked on his face would have broken my heart! I hope he gets through this quickly.

hopefully just for last night!

Wagon Jr. came down with a fever yesterday afternoon after his nap at daycare. By the time we picked him up he was just sadly sitting in the middle of the playground, and the teachers said he hadn't moved from that spot since they got out there. His face was totally caked with yellow mucus. :( We brought him home and gave him children's ibuprofen, and within a few hours his fever broke. He ate an ok amount of dinner and went down for bedtime just fine. We went to bed around 10:30pm.

He fitfully slept until about 1am... then woke up begging for water. Wagon Sr. went in there and gave him some water, and he went back to sleep. Then at 4am he woke up begging for water again. Wagon Sr. gave him water again, and he must have fallen back asleep, but by 5:30am he was up again, yelling nonstop. He usually wakes up around 7am! Wagon Sr. ended up going to get him because the yelling was not slowing down and he wasn't laying down anymore. He asked for breakfast, so he ate the earliest breakfast of his life.

I'm feeling ok right now (I think it's adrenaline from basically being up all night) but I know I'm going to crash tonight and tomorrow. Ugh.
