Pump once a day around 12 at work for a week....
Hopefully before kids come back from summer I will be ok

I think you're going to need to pump at least once to transition. You'll be in a lot of discomfort and definitely risking plugged ducts/mastitis if you just stop cold turkey like that.

I agree with @Truth Bombs:. You can't just go back to work and suddenly go 10 hours without doing something!! That'll just lead to plugged ducts or matisis (sp?). At least pump or hand express while your body gets used to the change.

To prevent engorgement and possible complications from that I would do one pump a day when you first go back (sometime between the typical 11 and 2 feedings) and then once your body adjusts to that, I would try to cut that pump session and see how it goes.

No LO of my own yet, but one of my EBF coworkers who recently returned to work has to pump at least twice a day - she starts leaking if she doesn't.

I have been so worried about DD taking a bottle or sippy cup of formula before going back to work because I do not plan on pumping when I return July 27th...

But what I forgot to take into account is the fact that my body will be used to nursing all day as DD is 6.5 months and still not taking a bottle or sippy for full sessions....I can get her to tolerate 1-2 Oz during dinner

Will I need to pump just to prevent hurting
Or if I continue to nurse her first and 2 last feedings will my body adjust ok?

Her schedule now is nurse at 7,11,2,5,7:30 with 1-2 MOTN

So I will be missing her 11 and 2 sessions?
