I have an anteverted womb so my cervix always faces that way. I am having trouble TTC but it is nothing to do with that. A retroverted womb can be a sign of adhesions but apparently the other way is fine and nothing at all to worry about.

@theotherstark: FWIW, no one realized or mentioned it until they did imaging and tried to stick catheters up there for procedures! But apparently sperm are so tiny that they can work with pretty much anything.

@bhbee: Yeah, it kind of freaked me out. It just seems weird that it changed, but again, maybe I hadn't been doing it correctly previously. Haha.

@spaniellove: Thanks for being reassuring :) I'm not due for my annual physical for another few months, so I'll just wait until I ask my doc about it then. Hopefully it shouldn't be an issue! Ever since we started TTC, I feel like my body is rebelling from its usual state and I now have no idea what is what anymore. Ha.

I think it will be fine in terms of TTC. I found out that my cervix is long and extremely angled but things got up there just fine. We had TTC issues but it had nothing to do with my cervix.

hmm, I wouldn't worry at this point. I've been checking my cervix for years and I only vaguely know what's going on except right around ovulation. which is to say it can feel lots of different ways. it would probably even be different if you checked later the same day. certainly, you could bring it up with a dr if you're concerned.

So, I'm sort of freaking out right now.

I've been checking my cervix for a few months now, and all seemed fine. I was getting a handle on patterns, changes, etc. etc. A few days ago I noticed that my cervix opening was facing back towards my butt, rather than down/forwards. What the hell? I don't think it had been this way before (but maybe I was just checking it incorrectly?!).

Can your cervix positioning change?? And will this affect our TTC? Does anyone else have this? Any issues TTC or where you able to get pregnant fine? I am slightly panicking that it will negatively affect things ... Sorry for all the questions!
