@mrsbubbletea: hey you! Thanks for checking in! He ended up coming out at 36+4; my earliest one! I have to say csection recovery has been tougher for sure; prob also bc I wasn’t expecting it. It’s funny looking back I was like how did I not think that was labor!

@graceandjoy: you finally inspired me to log back in, I have been too lazy to do that and just read on here! When I first saw your thread I had a funny feeling that baby boy was coming!!! Congratulations ❤️ I hope recovery is going ok and that your girls adjust well. How is he doing? He was a little early right?

@graceandjoy: Wow! I'm so glad you got to the hospital in time. I don't even want to imagine what an accidental transverse delivery might look like out of a hospital setting. What a crazy evening! Hope you all continue to do well!

@JennyPenny: I basically was in SO much pain I was like I HAVE to go to the hospital. I had cervix check around 1:30, and somehow basically went from like 2cm to 10cm by like 8. When I got there they were like oh wow you are ready. BUT the caveat was he turned transverse!!! He was still head down the day before. So literally wheeled right into OR and had baby by within an hour or so of getting to the hospital. It really was a wild ride!

@graceandjoy: wow, I’m really surprised she thinks it’s normal. Maybe it’s just another one of those things our bodies do different after we’ve had a few kids already 🤷🏼‍♀️

@JennyPenny: Yep every 5-6 min apart and lasts a little over a minute. But it’s all in the front... They don’t really feel like the bad period cramps. I think I’ll call my OB just in case...

I remember having cramps after cervix checks but nothing I’d describe as bad or timeable. Are they regular even if they’re over 5 min apart?

This is my 3rd and I don’t recall it being this bad. I’m 36 weeks, just had cervix checked and have had consistent bad cramping for 3 hours now, but they are usually over 5 min apart. I had been reading that it’s pretty normal, plus at the check up I wasn’t that far along so I’m thinking it’s just my cervix being irritated. Thoughts? DH is freaking out saying we need to go lol :meh:
