@ellewoods84: agree! How much worse could it get!!

@Alivoo01: thank you!

@Mamasig: we dont have an RnP, he naps in swig sometimes, I've been trying to avoid it for night time, but perhaps!!

@Seattlemom: we did CIO with DD at 5.5m, worst case I know the age will come and we will try it with him!

@Mae: interesting. I love your damn charts to notice said patterns!!

@merbaby14: glad we are not alone, it definitely makes me feel "better", lol. Looking forward to some more age/time for sleep training!

@skipra: I don't think so? I think I would put him in bed w us, before bringing the crib in! It's just on the other wall from our room (his room right next door) so he is already pretty close.

Bought a second hand magic sleep suit this am, going to try tonight!

No advice because we're in the same situation. Do you think he would sleep better with the crib in your room?

I could have written this exact post when my LO turned 3 months. He was also giving me decent stretches for a while (he also had been in his crib since 5 weeks) and then it just fell apart and kept getting worse! So I know how it feels!

We tried a few things like removing the swaddle which he liked then hated so we put it back on only for his sleep to suck again anyway so we just said screw it, we have nothing to lose if we swaddle wean him now so we ditched it altogether.

Finally at his 4 month dr apt his ped told us to sleep train him and it was the best thing ever. He started sleeping thru on the third night and ever since. So, I'm not sure if that's something you would feel comfortable with or not but it worked for us and LO seems much happier and stable now. We did wait until he was 4 months though.

Other than that, just hang in there! 3 months was tough for us so you're definitely not alone!

Have you noticed any difference on pattern if when you put him down? For some reason if we put fia down at 9 she sleeps ok but if we put her down at 8(even if she is exhausted) she is up half the night.

My LO slept pretty well until 3.5 months and then we had a horrible "4 month" sleep regression. I would definitely try swaddling (loved woobie), white noise, dark room, swing or rock and play. We ended up taking shifts with LO so DH and I could at least get one chunk of sleep every night. Then we did Sleep Easy Solution (CIO) at 5months. It worked well.

Maybe something cozier to sleep in like a rnp? Or try a swing? I'm not sure but just some thoughts!

No advice as my LO was a terrible night time sleeper since birth until recently. Just wanted to commiserate and give you all the hugs in the world! Hope he finds his groove soon! <3

Hi. I don't have any advice because my daughter's sleep really sucks also, but just wanted to say I am right there with you. Hope things improve for both us soon. She is close to your LO's age. I just keep saying it can only get better! (because I really don't think it can get worse!)

Ugh.

DS will be 3m on Sunday. EBF.

His sleep is getting worse and worse, his sleep through the night has never been great, good at times, but certainly never consistent. We loosely follow EASY through the day with no issues. Earlier days his sleep was decent, sometimes giving me a 4-5 hour stretch through the first part of the night.

We try for bedtime between 8 and 8:30. Somedays depending on when he wakes from his last nap of the day he doesn't make it to 8, other times, he stretches til 9. He goes down tough, usually nurse to sleep, but then end up back in his room (he has been in crib since 7w) to give him paci 1-3 times to officially get him down for the night.

Each night is different, some nights we get a decent stretch, then after that stretch it's every hour. Other nights it's multiple wakings consistently 1-2 hours apart through the night.

My DDs was bedtime at 8pm, wake at 4am/nurse, then up for day at 7am by this age. I knowww I can't compare, but this is awful. I can handle multiple wakings, but the lack of consistency in the timings are killing me. I have tried giving him paci to stretch out to 3 hours between nursing (like he does through the day with ease), but it results in more wakings and unsettledness that ends up with me in there more often so I just cave and nurse.

We have had him in sleep sack for the most part, then things went downhill 2-3w ago so I went to the swaddle (he didn't like the swaddle at all from birth), then he began rolling and we have been doing a split of swaddle wedged to stay on his back (know I can't do that forever and don't want to) and/or sleep sack with socks on his hands because he swats himself.

I am in the process of getting a magic sleep suit second hand, picking up this weekend, does anyone have any tips or ideas (open to anything else!!) I could try?

I realize this is likely a wait things out and let more time pass, but am just reaching out for any tips that could help us. I do hope/intend to sleep train in another 2 months or so.
