We had to have the car inspected, and repaired, then the dog got sick, then the thermostat on the car died not 6 days after the inspection. I know insurance will cover some of it, just not sure how much. Car behind DH is responsible for rear-end damage but because DH also hit car in front of him, we might be responsible for that (unless we can place the blame on rear car). Worse case scenario, we're out of the deductible for our insurance. I was going to have to ask my parents to borrow money for the taxes (I don't even know if they'll have it!) and now this. I really hope the mortgage interest helps seeing as we can't deduct student loan interest and will never be able to claim a LO.
