Be sure to get one that is light weight and that his inseam measures up with the seat height. He gets frustrated/bored after 5 min on it though so he hasn't had a ton of practice. We bought the Cruzee because it was one of the shortest and lightest weight (you will inevitably carry the bike sometimes for LO!). She is above average height at two yet barely reaches the ground with the seat on the lowest setting. </p> <p>We got it as a second birthday present. She's had it a few weeks and mostly walks with it so far. My nephew was great with it super early but my son never got the hang of it.
