@Mrs. Sunshine: Sure!
http://www.delish.com/recipefinder/banana-cake-recipe-mslo0612
I used yogurt instead of the milk or buttermilk. It was moist and amazing.

I love bananas in the morning, too, but I only like them when they're not very ripe. Thanks to everyone for the freezing them suggestion. I've never done that before!

@scg00387: looks so good!

I agree. Peel them and slice them and freeze em. Either use later for a recipe or use for ice cream.

I love the crepe like pancakes with two eggs and a banana. Treat yourself with a bit of Nutella on top and it's so good!

pleasssssssssssse make these. they are so freaking good. I bought a bag of ripe bananas for 50 cents and this was by far the best recipe I used to make work of the 25 (!!) bananas in the bag. http://weelicious.com/2010/09/23/banana-oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookies/

@yoursilverlining: I was going to suggest this! We put a little peanut butter in ours. Or just vanilla extract- if they're super ripe, the vanilla cuts out in banana flavor and it's seriously just like soft serve ice cream.

I also freeze them. I love making diary-free ice cream from bananas. Just blend/process them with whatever you like - my favorites are dark chocolate chips and chunks of strawberries so it tastes like a banana split! There are a ton of recipes on Pinterest.

No great recipes to offer, but I've read if you refrigerate them the peels brown faster but the fruit itself actually stay fresher, longer. I feel the same way you do about not being able to eat them fast enough, but when I refrigerate I do think I get a few extra days out of them.

Freeze them? Whenever I have brown bananas I don't have time to bake I just peel them and put them 2 to a freezer bag and freeze them. When they thaw out they're a little watery but bake up just fine in any banana recipe.

My bananas ripen so quickly that I can never eat them all before they start to go really ripe. So I'm in need of some new ideas of what to do with them! In the past few weeks, I've made banana bread, banana oatmeal muffins, and last week I made a banana yogurt cake. Now I'm out of ideas.

Help! :)
