All of our family is out of state/country, so we didn't get around to it until LO was 7 months old. I thought she would be squirmier/feistier, but she was wonderful! I was baptized at 16 months. My parents took my sister to be baptized when she was around the same age, and the pastor told my parents she was going to hell because they'd waited so long. My dad walked out of the church and never went back. Hopefully they can do the ceremony at the beginning of the Church service and not the end. I don't think 8 months is late at all!
