We went with a nice wooden Noah's ark shape sorter. I liked that it is biblical and it has an heirloom quality to it because it is wooden. Found it on amazon. My family is Catholic, so most of my nieces and nephews have gotten saints statues or rosaries. This family is Lutheran.</p> <p>I also know that the mom is super particular, so something like a cross to hang on the wall (or any other "decoration") would be touchy. </p> <p>And I don't feel like cash would be that special. </p> <p>Any ideas? I've already given her a handmade blanket and book of fairy tales when she was born. </p>
