It produced a nice matte finish, but I think it contributed to clogged pores. </p> <p>I found that my skin improved when I stopped using foundation every day to cover my skin. It also got drier after I turned 30. I've tried to original formula and the matte formula--haven't been too terribly impressed to be honest. My face gets super shiny after three hours or so. I have sensitive/dry/sometimes oilyish skin (if that even makes sense). I use the powder foundation and it is a light coverage which I like. I have rosacea as well and major breakouts now pp and it covers the redness very good without feeling heavy. I can see what others are saying about the powder and flakiness but overall I still love it! You can also control your coverage by how much you choose to tap and blend. I've been using it for over 10 years now. I have a pretty big stash so once that runs out I'll probably go back to BM. I never had any issues with them. Combo skin and it was great coverage without looking flaky! I Loved their undereye brightner powder!
