citronella spray bark collar-- i've heard amazing things! my friend said after 2 sprays, his dog stopped barking all together. he was kinda bummed because it cost $50 and he didn't need it again after two days!

They do make these noise makers that emit a high pitched noise when the dog barks. I don't know that it works for all dogs, but you might be able to pick one up to try it and return it if it doesn't work.

A spray made up of water and vinegar works really well. Or one of those citronella spray bark collars (it doesn't shock them). Both things they don't like the smell of so it usually distracts them from whatever they were barking at.

I wanted to leave her a note but she won't listen. She's so oblivious to it. She's gone to other neighbors with barking dogs and told them to keep their dogs quiet, yet she won't do a thing about hers and sees nothing wrong with it! (Those neighbors actually got rid of their dog because of her)

I don't know why I didn't even think of contacting the HOA about it. I will do it if it keeps up this week.

If you find anything I'd love to know about it. My mom's neighbor's dogs are constantly barking. Luckily I only have to deal with it when I visit, but I couldn't imagine living like that! We have tons of dogs around here, but luckily no bad barkers.

do you live in a community that you can complain to (like a homeowners association)? if not, i'd complain to the neighbor first, and if they don't respond, complain to the local police or something. i think they can get fined or something if they keep making noise.

Ugh. I feel your pain! Do you have white noise running in your nursery? (it helps) I would send your neighbor a nice note if you can't find anything that'll quiet the dogs! :P

Has anyone used an outdoor bark deterrant?

I have a very inconsiderate neighbor who lets her dogs bark non-stop at all hours of the day and night and I'm about to go nuts if they wake up LO again (and I'd just like some peace and quiet for once). I was hoping that I could buy something to that might help to get her dogs to stop barking but I haven't seen anything with great reviews.
