We are completely remodeling our master bathroom by taking everything out and starting new. I have a couple questions and would appreciate any advice.

I fell in love with a hand-colored encaustic floor tile, and I want to base my colors around it. It is an ivory background with a gray and light golden color in the design. I had a designer at the tile store help me pick out a bone colored wall tile to go with it. Since the tiles aren't white, I think it would look odd to have white in the bathroom. My original idea was to have a white freestanding tub and a white vanity, but now I"m thinking gray vanity and an off white drop-in tub that I can surround with the wall tile. I'm still trying to decide what countertop I should use for the vanity. Most of the big box stores have marble countertops on their ready to ship vanities, and that would be a white with grey veining mixed in. Would that look odd? Also, should I replace the toilet with an ivory instead of white, or am I overthinking this?

The wall the vanity goes on is 13.5 feet long. The bathtub would take up about 55-60 inches of it. The previous vanity was 96 inches, but we took that one out. It also sat flush against the wall. Most of the vanities I like are all 72 inches. It's hard to find vanities that are over 72 inches and fit my style. If I went with a 72 inch vanity, that would leave a 31 inch gap between the vanity and the tub. Would that look odd? Should I center the vanity on the wall? Then there would be a 15 inch gap between the vanity and the wall and 15 inches between the vanity and tub. I'm trying to figure out what would look best.
