Thanks for all the insight ladies!! My neighbor has the bjorn and it just doesn't seem to do it for me or for the baby. I think I'd like something with a little more motion whether it be automatic rocking or vibration. One of each may be the way to go!

the bjorn is awesome, but it does NOT vibrate, and DS was too small to make it bounce at the beginning.

As he got bigger, it was a great place for him to sit while I got dressed in the morning. He loved the wooden toy bar, too. But for soothing him, and especially for the early days, we definitely needed the FP vibrating bouncer. For us, they had 2 totally different purposes.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: we just had the generic Sunny Baby toy bar. It worked great and could also attach to the stroller etc.

My LO really has never liked her bouncer so who knows, your twins could be the same. I think keeping one of each so you have options to see which each twin prefers would be my vote.

@lady baltimore: agreed! My twins were (and still are) complete opposites in their preferences. It's good to have options, you never know what they'll like.

@ChiCalGoBee: that's the bouncer we are going to get. Did you get one of the toy bars? Preference? I'm planning to get the wooden one, but the fabric one is kind of fun too.

OMG that Ingenuity bouncer is the BEST because it actually bounces - on its own. Vibration didn't do anything for my son, but he had severe reflux and had to sit upright after feedings and that was something we could pop him into in the MOTN and he would nod off in it. Its also quite big for a seat and plush so my tall son was quite comfy in it for a while. I don't know about the Bjorn bouncer but yeah, if I needed an actual thing that BOUNCED the Ingenuity all the way. We bought it over the other kinds because it bounced on its own.

I have to add another vote for the Bjorn because it is the BEST piece of baby great we own. We used it for 9 months, and our son is in the 90th percentile for height so that tells you just how long it can last-a lot of other bounces are way shorter so I know little ones outgrow them sooner. We bought it used on HB so ours was way cheaper than on Amazon, but I'd buy a new one in a heartbeat. It's THE BEST BEST BEST!! http://www.amazon.com/BABYBJORN-Bouncer-Balance-Black-Cotton/dp/B00BQYVOKY/ref=pd_sim_sbs_75_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0DGYXCSXP81P2DYDV75V&dpID=41xrlcD%2BymL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR133%2C160_

@MrsYellowJacket: agree with pp. I'd seriously consider taking back three of the four and putting the proceeds towards a baby bjorn. It is hands down the best gear we purchased. It folds flat for travel. Easily machine washable. The bounce is so responsive and lively. Or you can easily bounce it with your foot. Our gal is six months now and she still looooooves it. Easy to carry around. Naps in it in a pinch. It is $$; obviously the downside. But I would sell all of our baby crap and buy it again.

@MrsYellowJacket: in my experience, the hard plastic FP ones don't bounce well. You really have to sit there and move it. For baby #2 we went with the Bjorn because it's wore frame and it bounces much better. So I would vote that one.

We have an ingenuity bouncer similar to that one and DS loves the music it plays. It doesn't look like the FP one has music? It made a big difference to us and is sometimes the difference between him settling or not.

@ShootingStar: @Mrs. Lemon-Lime: thanks! That was kind of our thinking, we like the FP ones and the others are just slightly more expensive. I wanted to make sure weren't over looking some feature that would swing us the other direction!!

All bouncers are the same in my experience. We had a brand new expensive fancy one and a cheap consigned one. I saw no real difference. He didn't like the toys on either and they both bounced. I'd return whichever one gets you more money/store credit.

Hello! So I'm probably (likely) over thinking this, but I had a shower over the weekend for our twins and received two sets of baby bouncers.

One is the fisher price curve bouncer
http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-CFB88-Comfort-Curve-Bouncer/dp/B00NEO5UQS

The other set is the ingenuity smart bounce
http://m.target.com/p/ingenuity-automatic-bouncer-brighton/-/A-16343375?ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=16343375&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=pla_baby+shopping&adgroup=sc_baby&LID=9pgs&KID=a6e1c0c4-d0bf-47b8-af13-27c805c57a14&kpid=16343375&gclid=Cj0KEQjwnMOwBRCAhp-ysqCwypkBEiQAeSy1-XJrIyyOK0mNdVvEH7odm9LPUtirAlKj2gR1xvs6LtwaApCF8P8HAQ

Have any of y'all used either? Have a preference? We're likely to return one set. Thanks!!
