@NovBaby1112: I use an Asian brand, the Skin 79 and it's pretty thick. I have noticed it covers my broken capillaries/red spots better than concealer.

@NovBaby1112: less coverage than foundation, but still covers my pores and evens things out a bit. I think it varies from brand to brand and also on whether you apply with a sponge, brush, fingers etc. I have NOT tried it under makeup... for those days I go with my normal routine using primer. But especially now that it's summer I've been wearing just the BB cream pretty much every day.

I've been using the Boscia BB Cream. I'm relatively happy with it. It's fairly thick, but I usually use zinc oxide sunscreen, so by comparison, it isn't bad. I prefer a slightly higher SPF than Boscia offers, so once I'm done with the tube, I'll probably just go back to sunblock for daily wear (powder and blush readily stick to physical sunblocks, but it takes some practice to get it right).

Bringing this back just to say I bought CC Cream from Clinique yesterday and I'm wearing it today and loving it so far!!!

I am still so fascinated by this concept that I am sure to buy more different brands in the future. Very interested in Asian brands for sure -- I am pale as all hell so I'm sure I could find a shade that would work!

I've recieved my Skin 79 BB cream and I love it. It comes out a lot more gray when I pump it onto my hand, but I've learned to apply it on the spots that need coverage by tapping it on with my finger. The consistency is somewhat thick and it doesn't rinse of with water, which is perfect for the humid weather we've been having. Two thumbs up.

@babyjmama: It's a primer, sunscreen and tinted lotion all in one. It's nice to put on alone or under makeup. I use it alone during the week, and under my regular foundation/powder when i want to look more "done up." The kind I use evens out my complexion and brightens my skin, which I really like!

@LOOCH i live in an area with a large asian population so our local beauty stores carry skin 79. however, i also order from prettyandcute.com just as much when i'm feeling too lazy!

http://www.prettyandcute.com/Skin79-VIP-Gold-Super-Plus-Beblesh-Balm-40g-p1794.html

I believe there's only one shade in this line. i used it during the winter when i was lighter, pretty pale, but with yellow undertones. i still use it now even though i've tanned noticeably - i don't have super pale skin at all. since bb is typically never a perfect match (it blends in well and the shade changes after you apply it), this should work well for most unless you have a much deeper skin tone. i also use powder makeup to pat over it.

@SupernovaJ: Since you use the Skin 79, may I ask what shade you use and if you're really fair? I would love to try it, but i don't know where to get it locally.

i love bb creams. my faves are:
- Skin 79 VIP Gold BB
- Estee Lauder DayWear BB
- Clinique Superdefense BB
In general though, I feel that the Asian brand BBs are better, or the Asia variants. Clinique does have a new CC Cream. Different texture and is more of a lightweight color corrector than a fuller coverage BB. I love it!

@lioneyes: I would see if a store near you carries it so you can try it. It only comes in two shades, and if I put a lot on its a tad too dark for me. But its really nice stuff.

I use Dior's Diorsnow BB cream. It's awesome. It brightens my skin and makes it look so healthy (and it's SPF 50). It's definitely a splurge, but it's the best BB cream I've ever used.

I went to a local store this weekend and they put Trish McEvoy's on me. It is amazing. It's also totally expensive, but it is really lightweight, evens tone dramatically and provides a bit of coverage. I also used it underneath powder foundation for a date and its great as a base. I had been using Laura merrcier tinted moisturizer for a couple years but so far I like this way more.

I use this one. I've been liking it, and it doesn't cause me to break out. I don't wear powder over it so it does show signs of wear as the day progresses. http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Jart-Rejuvenating-Blemish-Base/dp/B002L9ZBPM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1371476558&sr=8-1&keywords=dr+jart+bb+cream
