As long as the temperature is changing, it keeps going - only once it's the same number for a couple seconds does it start to beep. Sometimes I swear it's 1-2 minutes, used to be 30-40 seconds. If so, how long we're you using it before a change was needed and how did you know it was necessary?</p> <p>I've had some strange temps the past few days, including a giiiiant dip post O and then a rise with three temps that are almost identical. It could be that it's just strange temps, but I wanted to look into the battery issue, too. </p>
