@regberadaisy: Yeah, I'm so excited to throw this party! Just started sweating a bit when the RSVPs were rolling in and I realized it was a LOT more than I had anticipated...

@HabesBabe: @matador84: @blackbird: ahh, ok! I didn't think about siblings b/c we only have 1 kid, but it makes sense to bring them if both parents attend.

Well, we ended up finding a local community center that had a room available on such short notice so the problem has been solved! I was so stressed. Even w/how spacious our house is, there is no way we could have comfortably fit 50 ppl in our living and family room.

@pinkcupcake: space wasn't a concern and I just ordered more food...definitely over ordered as usual! We had a bounce house for entertainment for the kids. I think we had 47 guests for LO 1's 3rd...twenty something kids.

If it's a party where the parents are expected to stay, then siblings should be included. If it's a drop-off party, then it could go either way.

I had to assume when inviting people to DD's birthday at our house, the whole family was invited!

I think until kids are old enough to be dropped off, bday parties are a sibling affair :bummed:

We're having our first "friends" birthday party (LO turning 3) and we invited her preschool classmates. A couple of the parents asked if it would be alright to bring siblings, and I said yes without too much thought... but now it looks like there are at least 4 older siblings (around age 5/6) attending. It looks like it's gonna be a total of 16 kids.

I'm stressing! We're throwing the party at our house, and it's pretty spacious but still gonna be a pretty tight squeeze w/so many kids & adults! I had no idea so many ppl would RSVP yes. I was banking on maybe 10 kids, max... but so far, everyone is saying yes.

I'm so stressed :(
