We borrowed one last summer and this year we bought a collapsible folding high chair. We did bring a few toys for the car ride, either new or toys she hadn't played with in a long time, and every hour or so I would give her a new toy and take one toy away (just so she wouldn't get buried under them). The PNP was an epic fail because she refused to sleep in it.
