&#60;p&#62;I guess one option would be to just bring cheap toys.  When we were at the splash pad last, my daughter loved playing with some basic plastic (solo type) cups.  I wasn't worried if a kid toted one off.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Please call me out if this sounds selfish... But whenever we go to the splash deck at our YMCA, the older kids always take Cobi's beach toys from him.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Today the little girl was nice and I told her it was fine if she wanted to play with him and it wasn't an issue-she was actually really good with him- it was really sweet!&#60;br /&#62;
But some kids take them and won't give them back.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;What do you do in this situation? I don't want them taking toys from J, and I don't want our toys going missing. I also hate the idea of talking to their parents over such a small issue!
