Ditto to everything above! I would add that you should try to buy the sand toys and maybe a beach tent or umbrella at the actual beach...sucks to haul all of that in your luggage. We also have had a lot of fun by setting up "camp" at the top of the sand/far away from the water. It feels safer that way, and honestly they only really care about playing in the sand. Last tip is to avoid bringing any wet/sticky snacks. We brought fruit/veggie pouches, which meant all the sand that touched their face during and after eating stuck around. He's a pretty active little dude but has never seen the ocean/sand so we are anticipating spending more time at the pool than the beach. We have plenty of swimsuits, rash guards, his sunglasses, hooded beach towel, sunscreen... I'm ordering a swim trainer (one of those rings with the tank top built in) on Amazon. He also has a little pail with a rake and shovel to play in the sand. But what else do you think is helpful to have with us? Thanks all! </p>
