It's pretty good and technically the cover is "removable" in that it has a zipper, but there is a huge metal staple in the zipper to keep it shut. Our personalized beanbag has had all sorts of gross things happen to it and the cover is such a pain to remove. Our OT thinks he'd like to sink into a beanbag and I don't want to spend an arm and a leg on one because it sounds like she's going to recommend a lot of things...but I don't want little beads flying everywhere either! </p>
