They are both great and both girls sit in the all the time. They're easy to move, most of the covers come off to wash, and it makes the space more adult-friendly, which I figured was important since one of us would be reading to him for a while. As a bonus, they come in handy for pillow forts. :)</p> <p>I got them from all over and looked for sales (the end of season summer/outdoor chair cushions have held up well), but IKEA sells chair and ottoman cushions individually, and they're cheap and robust. My tip is to look for a cover that is stretchy, made from microfiber or something, so it doesn't lose shape and washes easily. He's due in early Feb and will be in our room for a while but I wanted to get DD settled in the shared room soon.</p> <p>I want to get her a little beanbag chair or anywhere-type chair for near the bookshelves on the wall (reading nook style). It's a big change for her so I wanted to make a little cozy area all her own.</p> <p>Any suggestions re: beanbag or chair for a 3+ year old? Suggestions on where to get a good beanbag? PBK and LoN prices are scaring me so I wanted to see if anyone's done anything similar. Bonus points if it's available in purple ;) </p>
