Honestly, we had both and I hated the gemini. We bought that one first based on Baby Gear Lab recommendations and Lion HATED being in it. I actually found it to be less soft and taller than the Ergo 360 (maybe I was using it wrong?). When I finally got the Ergo 360, Lion instantly took to it and fell asleep in it. In between giving up on the gemini and getting the 360, I also had a baby k'tan which I liked (but the big downside was that I couldn't share it with my husband because you have to buy it based on the wearer's height). My point is: try them if you can and decide! We ended up selling the gemini after we had our second and decided we'd rather roll with the 360 + k'tan (or a stroller plus the 360).

I have an ergo and a beco. I greatly prefer the beco because of the cross straps. I feel so much more supported. With the ergo I feel like the straps are too wide-set and I always have a "sliding off" feeling. Same goes for backpacks. If I have another I want to try a lillebaby too.

I had a beco gemini with LO1, and I got a lillebaby for LO2, and much prefer the lillebaby. It's so comfy!

Oh i love love love my beco! Used it with my first starting around 4 weeks old. And my husband was a fan too, so we both did a lot of babywearing.
I found it easy to use and very comfortable. I used it into toddler years as well (especially on my back).
Mine was purchased through amazon

@Pumpkin Pie: Another Beco lover here! I got ours at Target, but it doesn't look like they keep them in stock (near me, at least) - free shipping to stores though!

I haven't used an ergo but I used the beco when my little guy was a newborn and am still using it at 10 months postpartum. It's easy for me to get him in and out and he seems comfortable in it.

Love my Gemini especially for younger babies. The padded back gives lots of support for wee ones. I don't love it over about 18 months.

I have both and like both. I like how the becco straps can be crossed. That was my favorite feature when my ergo (regular not 360!) started hurting my back.
With the ergo, we never used the infant insert, just rolled up a receiving blanket! Much cooler and less cumbersome.

@erinbaderin: good point- I do love my beco Gemini but I preferred something smaller and softer when they were teeny- my personal favorite was the solly wrap but I never tried the baby hawk.

This is not either of your options but my favourite thing when my baby was little was the Baby Hawk. Much softer and lighter, easier to tuck their little legs up when they're teeny. And then once they get bigger you can go to the Ergo (or you can keep using it, you can also do a back carry).

I have not used an ergo 360 but have a beco Gemini and have borrowed a regular ergo so can compare to that.

The Gemini should be good for a 9 week old. I think I started putting my second in it around that age- they say you can use from newborn but it seemed more comfortable when she was just a little bigger and had a bit of head control. It's super easy to get in and very comfortable- get it adjusted once and you are good. You can cross the straps over your back or do it the regular over the shoulder way. You can wear baby on your back when he or she is older. And you can forward face, though I only ever did t for short periods of time as it's less comfortable for me and supposedly not as good for the baby.

Compared to the ergo, it's a little smaller- so better for the really little babies, but I ended up borrowing the ergo when my first was 18 months and just felt too tall in the beco (on my back).

I'm a big fan and am still using it with my second baby now. One of our most used items!

I'm thinking of getting a Becco Gemini after some recommendations from here. I saw a youtube review on it, and it looks easy to use. I already have an Ergo 360, but I hate the infant insert, and its a little difficult for me to snap the back. I have a 9 week old, so I want something that I can use now and into when she grows more.

Do you like the Becco Gemini? How does it compare to the Ergo 360?
