I prefer the ergo and would buy that if I had subsequent LOs. The Beco is definitely much cuter but I find it too strappy and when storing its such a pain. I also really wish it had a hood so that I wouldn't have to worry about having a hat on DS when he's sleeping. It's been a while since I had an ergo but I don't remember it being any harder to put on than the Gemini. I remember the ergo being softer overall. I wear it every day for HOURS and it's pretty comfortable the whole time. The main thing that sold me on the Beco vs. Ergo was how easy the Beco is to put on by myself. I have friends with Ergos and it's more of a struggle to get it on (and sometimes they ask for help fastening the back). </p> <p>The one thing I don't love about the Beco is that it's very "strappy." The straps hang down on the ground when I'm putting LO in, and it looks like a hot mess of straps and clips once it's on. It hasn't been a big deal so far because I wear a coat over the whole thing (and don't care so much what I look like), but when it's warmer it won't look as clean and streamlined as the Ergo. It's comfortable, easy to fasten alone, there are 4 different carrying positions, it doesn't hurt my back at all and I love it so much.
