The other day she was focused on peeling a foam sticker off the dresser (big bro stuck it there) while I was folding laundry in the same room. I let her mess with it for a good few minutes until I finally called out her name and she was startled. I think it's that they can observe and notice so many more things than before and processing everything on top of all this new ability to walk/cruise/stand/etc freaks them out. He is 11.5 months. We were playing in his room. DH yelled upstairs for help locating something and LO quickly crawled over to me with a frightened look on his face. I guess he couldn't make out where the sound was coming from or who made it?</p> <p>When did your LOs start to be afraid? </p>
