If it is the pillow that is concerning you, you can switch it to one of those memory foam pillows, the contoured ones, you know? It's more contained.

My daughter has been sleeping on her tummy in our bed since she was that age. She snuggles right up into my pillow, which sounds terrifying, but has been fine. Ever since she was tiny we haven't worried about her being smothered... When something is on her face she just moves until it's not anymore. It's really a question of how comfortable you are with it.. Our little girl is happy as a clam in our soft bed.

LO is 9 mo and we've been bed sharing on and off since he was born. He really prefers to sleep on his tummy which I don't worry about at all in the crib, but all of the sudden he's trying to sleep on his tummy in our bed and it makes me nervous. If you cosleep/co slept with your LO as they got older, at what age were you be comfortable with them sleeping on their tummy in bed?
Thanks!
