I usually say DD's while we're laying in my bed nursing after PJs before going into the crib. It's been interesting because in my family, prayer was always very private. No one taught me to pray at night or even told me I should. It was something I really started on my own. It's important to me now to pray with LO and for it not to be weird or awkward. We are big on talking to God just like we would anyone else, so where we pray isn't an issue. It's a very Catholic routine. :wink: We start with an Our Father, a Hail Mary, and a Glory Be, then we say the guardian angel prayer:</p> <p>Angel of God, my guardian dear,<br /> to whom God's love commits me here.<br /> Ever this day be at my side,<br /> to light and guard, to rule and guide.</p> <p>After that, there's a little open prayer for the day's intentions. We wrap up with a litany of saints with DD's patrons, so we say "we pray for these intentions in the name of Your son and with the intercession of Your saints" and then name each of them and ask them to pray for us.
