I also had expected it to be insanely expensive for some reason but it was less than or the same as pottery barn, etc. next time I need a bed or other furniture I will probably look @ R&amp;B first.</p> <p>and finally I have a DO NOT RECOMMEND - restoration hardware. we ordered a few things and the quality and delivery were both subpar. we had to have some chairs switched out 3 times because they kept bringing the wrong ones. it took twice as long as promised. and our dining table doesn't fit together correctly so there is a gap where the leaf goes. The wardrobe and dresser are ikea, the bed frame is from a local store and the dressers night tables are from CB2. So we have a dark wood PB bed, and dark wood dresser and armoire from ikea, that looks close enough to the same color. The bed is custom made. We are seeing it they can match it white, if not it will be a pine color which matches DD's dresser. Before it was just a bunch of mis-matched furniture. </p> <p>Now we have a nice bedroom set. We looked at Ashley Furniture, Dania and other big named furniture, but ultimately got our bedroom set from a warehouse outlet. I find it very challenging to coordinate wood tones.</p> <p>I got the set from Thomasville, the idea was to just buy it once and have it forever and so far, that plan has worked out. We have a very nice king sleigh bed and a very large room. I think I would like to do a set of 3 drawer dressers next to the bed on either side. And then a long dresser and a higher dresser for me/him. Oh and then some type of TV stand maybe. </p> <p>- Do all your pieces match?<br /> - Did you buy a nice set or just something that is for a few years<br /> - Best stores? </p>
